Build a service estimate for an electric or hybrid vehicle from your own labor rate, an optional high-voltage (HV) safety and handling surcharge, a diagnostic fee and common service lines, then project tire rotation and wear. Every number is your input; the defaults are only labelled examples, not manufacturer data.
⚠ High-voltage safety
Work on high-voltage systems should only be done by technicians with proper EV/hybrid high-voltage training, using appropriate PPE (such as rated and inspected insulated gloves) and insulated tools. Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's service information and de-energizing procedures. This estimator calculates prices only. It does not provide repair procedures or safety instructions.

Rates & fees
Defaults are placeholders so the math is visible. Replace them with your shop's actual rates and your local tax rules.
Service lines
Tick the lines to include. Hours and parts are your estimates for the specific vehicle (check service information for the procedure and parts). Mark lines that involve HV work so the surcharge applies.

Tire rotation & wear projection
Heavier vehicles and high instant torque can wear tires faster, so measure and project rather than assume. The projection is a straight line from your two measurements.
How to use
Read the safety note. HV work requires trained technicians and proper PPE.
Enter your labor rate and choose how (or whether) you charge an HV safety and handling surcharge and a diagnostic fee.
Tick the service lines you're quoting, enter hours and parts for this vehicle, and mark HV lines.
Optionally project the next tire rotation and when tread will reach your replace-at depth.
Nowhere. They're placeholders so you can see the math. Replace every value with your own labor rate, your estimate of the hours for the specific vehicle, and real parts prices. Check the manufacturer's service information for procedures and intervals.
Should I charge a high-voltage surcharge?
That's a business decision. Some shops charge for the extra time, training, PPE and equipment that HV work requires. This tool lets you apply a flat fee, a per-HV-hour fee or a percentage of HV labor, only when a line is marked as HV work.
Who should work on high-voltage systems?
Only technicians with proper EV/hybrid high-voltage training, using appropriate PPE and insulated tools, following the manufacturer's de-energizing and service procedures. This estimator doesn't provide repair or safety procedures.
How does the tire wear projection work?
Enter two tread-depth measurements and their mileages. The tool calculates a straight-line wear rate and projects when the tread will reach your replace-at depth. Measure in several spots, and use the lowest reading.
